The delightfully restored 1874 mansion "Birthplace of the Ashes" has a number of unique Victorian rooms available for any special occasion, from the traditional wedding, to a luscious private dinner or a casual cocktail party on the Mansion's verandah.

Should you wish to be married at the historical mansion, function packages can be designed to incorporate pre and post function accommodation in one of our ten beautifully appointed rooms and suit a budget that oyu have set. Rupertswood offers a variety of locations for on site wedding ceremonies. Choice of ceremony settings include gardens, chapel or interior of the mansion. These locations as well as the cellar are an ideal backdrop for all of your wedding photographs. Alternatively, Sunbury has a number of historical churches in all major denominations, all within close proximity to Rupertswood.                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Being a member of the Daylesford Macedon Produce (DMP) group, our focus lies heavily in supporting regional produce and wines  with such sensational fresh produce it certainly influences the direction of chef's menus. We do like to tailor each menu as we like to ensure every event is unique.

Just a 15 minute drive to Melbourne International airport and 35 minutes to the heart of Melbourne, Rupertswood Mansion is readily accessible to The Macedon Ranges, Yarra Valley, Daylesford, Ballarat & Bendigo.

Function times

Evening functions are of five-hour duration, commencing from 6.00pm or 6.30pm

Luncheons are of four and a half hour duration, commencing at 11.30am and concluding no later than 4.00pm (extensions AM only)

Extensions may be granted where there is the availability to do so. The following charge per half hour inclusive of
Accommodation

Experience delightful accommodation in one of our ten beautifully appointed guest rooms. All rooms are furnished with queen size beds, ensuites, & antiques and feature individual heating & cooling systems. Enjoy a generous buffet breakfast with your choice of cooked specialities.

Ceremony

Rupertswood Mansion provides a stunning backdrop for your ceremony.  There have been many delightful ceremonies held in and around the Mansion.

Outdoor ceremonies will always require a second alternative due to inclement weather that can be experienced on the day. The wet weather alternative will be allocated by Rupertswood staff on the day if deemed necessary.

Morning Ceremonies are available from 10am and afternoon ceremonies from 4.30pm.

If the Chapel is used an additional fee is payable to Salesian College

Inclusive of:-
Registry table & two bridal chairs
Flower arrangement for registry table
Use of the Mansion & Grounds for photography
Complimentary use of the hotel CD player (Indoor ceremonies only)

Hire equipment can be arranged on your behalf to be set at the ceremony site.   All items must be pre-arranged and are subject to availability.  Prices quoted are approximate only and a firm price can be obtained on request.
Please note delivery and pickup fees will be applicable.
